The 2010 Illinois Youth Soccer Expo and Chicago FireFest will offer a variety of informative seminars for parents, players, coaches and league administrators including the very popular College Recruitment Seminar, which will give players tips about how to get noticed by college coaches.
2010 State Cup Meeting 9am Presenter: Bill Bruno, State Cup Director
Participating State Cup teams coaches and administrators are encouraged to attend this meeting to discuss the 2010 Illinois State Cup.
At this meeting the official brackets and seedings will be announced and there will be an opportunity for questions to be asked.
The newly added U12 division and the round robin format it will be played in will be covered.
Also discussed at this meeting will be referee fees, advancement fees, schedule and more. Ideal for State Cup coaches and team managers

Chicago Red Stars Town Hall Meeting 11am Presenters:Chicago Red Stars Players, Coaches & Front Office Staff
Participate in an open forum with leadership and players from the Chicago Red Stars as they prepare for the second season of Women's Professional Soccer. Topics will include building a successful women's soccer franchise, utilizing the immense pool of local soccer talent in our team, and marketing to the local soccer community. Steroids have permeated professional sports for decades and this secret society of users has been brought to the national media stage with countless numbers of athletes "cheating" their way into the record books. Still in the shadow of the Steroid Era are millions of kids that have resorted to performance enhancing drugs as a substitute for skill development, performance enhancement training, and nutrition. Michigan State University is reporting that over 1-million adolescents in the U.S. are currently using steroids with the possibility of much higher numbers of abuse that have gone unreported.
