The Chicago Beach Soccer Tournament is unlike any other soccer tournament in the Midwest. Don't miss out on all the SUN, FUN & SOCCER!

What is the format? Beach Soccer is played 5v5 (4 field players and a keeper). Teams can have up to 12 players on a roster. Games are played in 2 13-minute halfs with a 3 minute halftime. The U12 division plays with a size 4 ball, all other plays with a size 5. 

What are the youth age divisions? The Youth Divisions are Under-12, Under-14, Under-16 & Under-19. These groups are played in Boys, Girls & Co-Ed Divisions.

How many girls need to be on the field for co-ed games? At least two girls must be on the field at all time.

Do I have to play with my club team or can I get a group a friends together? YES! That is the great thing about the Chicago Beach Soccer Tournament, playes can get together from a variety of different clubs and teams to play together. They just need to get the player cards from their clubs.

Can my dad or mom act as the coach? YES! Parent or other adults can act as coaches for the Chicago Beach Soccer tournament, in order to do so they must complete a background check no later than the week prior to the tournament. I am playing in the U19 division and am 18 years old, can I act as coach for my team? YES. You just need to contact the IYSA Office at 847-290-1577 and let us know.

Will I play on both days? NO. Group play and championships games for each division are played on 1 day. For 2011 we are tentatively planning to play Girls & Co-Ed games on Saturday, July 23 & Boys games on Sunday, July 24.
