Teams in the Under-12 age division, have a different format that other age division in the Illinois State Cup.
- Games played in 9v9 format
- Teams play single elimination until the Round of 16
- Teams that advance to the Round of 16 then compete in points-based round robin group play to determine Semifinalists
Under-12 Fees
- Registration: $200 (Teams that do not advance to Round of 16 portion will be refunded $100 by IYSA)
- Referee: $60 per team per game (Must be paid in cash to Center Ref prior to start of game)
- Parking Fee: $50 per team per weekend, $35 for Rockford based teams (Must be paid prior to start of game, games will not start until parking fee is paid. Must be cash or check made payable to Rockford Park District. Fee covers entire teams parking for the weekend)
Under-12 Scoring
Once the Under-12 State Cup Tournament reaches the Round of 16, teams will play in a points based round-robin tournament to determine semifinals.
Group play will be based on the following scoring:
- Win: 6 points
- Tie: 3 points
- Loss: 0 points
- 1 points per goal (Max 3 goals)
- Shutout: 1 point
If group play ends in a tie, the following criteria will determine tie-breakers. In the event of a forfeit of bye, tie-breakers will be determined from games played within GROUP ONLY. Crossover and forfeit games will not be included incalculation.
Tie-Breakers:
- 1st: Head-to-head
- 2nd: Most Wins
- 3rd: Goal Differential (4 goal max per game)
- 4th: Goals Allowed
- 5th: Penalty Kicks
