Reporting to the Club President, the Director of Coaching (DOC) will direct and supervise the Club coaching staff and is ultimately responsible for meeting the Club’s overall objectives relative to player, team and program development.
Qualifications: License: Minimum USSF C license or NSCAA equivalent Coaching
Experience: DOC or ADOC experience preferred and a minimum 10 years youth coaching experience or 5 years as Professional or College Head Coach

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Recruit and assign qualified coaches in consultation with the Club President and Travel Director
• Mentor, train, monitor, and evaluate coaches and help them plan and implement training sessions
• Coordinate club wide training
• Provide guidance to coaches on match management and how to interact with parents and club officials
• Conduct age specific coaches’ clinics
• Organize skills clinics
• Create a club-wide player development model from Juniors to u19s
• Design and administer a coaching education program
• Develop a Coaching Manual and a Coaches Orientation Manual in line with Curriculum
• Develop a code of conduct for coaches, players, and parents
• Develop a standard coaching evaluation process
• Develop a standard player evaluation process
• Create, evaluate, and summarize game reports to track team progress over time
• Bring in experts to assist in overall player development
• Identify most talented players in club and alert State and Regional coaches for possible inclusion in State and Regional teams
• Oversee tournament selections to ensure proper team and player development.
• Design and administer team tryouts
• Assist in the design of a parent education program
• Assist in the design of a college recruiting program and educate players and parents on college playing opportunities
• Represent Club at functions, meetings, and events as directed by the Board.
• Report to the Board and attend Board meetings
• Maintain the club library of books, videos, and other coaching materials
DOC may also be required to perform other related duties relating to:
• Program Development
• External Communications and Public Relations
• Risk Management
