Illinois Youth Soccer is an official State Association and charter member of the US Soccer Federation and US Youth Soccer. Illinois Youth Soccer is the administrative body authorized to carry out the Federation's and US Youth Soccer's programs to amateur youth players in Illinois. Programs include: Olympic Development Program (ODP), Illinois State Cup/US Youth Soccer National Championship Series, Illinois Cup, Copa Chicago, Chicago International Invitational, Chicago Beach Soccer Tournament, Inner City Programs, Soccer Expo, Network News, Coaching Education and Referee Education. Illinois Youth Soccer is Illinois’ largest youth sport organization with over 80,000 players.

2010 Illinois State Cup Team Registration Now Open
Registration for the 2010 Illinois Youth Soccer State Cup is now open. Registration deadline is February 26. To register click the appropriate age group below:
Under-12 Boys & Girls
Under-13 thru 19 Boys & Girls
The Under-12 age division has been added to the State Cup competition. Teams will play elimination games until the round of 16, then compete in points-based round robin play to decide semifinalists.
Remember in order to participate in the official Illinois State Cup that is part of the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series and been hosted by Illinois Youth Soccer for over 35 years:
1.) Your team, players and coaches must be currently registered with Illinois Youth Soccer Association
2.) Your team and all of its players must be currently registered with an affiliated IYSA league
3.) Your team must participate in an IYSA only division of an affiliated IYSA league durrent the current soccer year
4.) Your league competition must consist of one (1) game against no less than three (3) different IYSA teams participating in the league
5.) At least 50 pecent of team's players must be registered and domiciled in Illinois
6.) Your team must have US Youth Soccer player and coach passes

Illinois Youth Soccer Night With The Chicago Bulls 
Illinois Youth Soccer members, their families and friends, can purchase tickets to the Chicago Bulls game for March 22 (vs. Houston Rockets) or March 30 (vs. Phoenix Suns and soccer fanatic Steve Nash) at a significant discount with proceeds benefitting the Illinois Youth Soccer Inner City Programs

Board of Directors Actions
The Board approved the motion than an IYSA background check by a referee in the fall of any year for an entry level or refresher course be valid for the following calendar year
The Board added the U12 division in a 9v9 format to the 2010 State Cup with no exception to the Illinois State qualification requirements
The Board approved Club Deportivo American as a recreational league
Information In Regard To Windy City Soccer League & LDE Soccer League
Windy City Soccer League & LDE Soccer League ARE NOT AFFILIATED with Illinois Youth Soccer Association (IYSA) contrary to the information disseminated by the leagues. LDE Soccer League has never been affiliated with the IYSA. Windy City Soccer League has not been affiliated with the IYSA since Fall 2007.
Windy City Soccer Leaguey LDE Soccer League NO ESTAN AFILIADOS con Illinois Youth Soccer Association (IYSA) al contrario a la informacion difundida por la ligas. LDE Soccer League nunca has estado afiliado a IYSA. Windy City Soccer League no ha estado afiliado con IYSA desde el otono del 2007.
Reminder For Teams . . .
If your team wants to participate in Illinois State Cup (official tournamet of US Youth Soccer National Championship Series), President's Cup or the Midwest Regional League your team must be registered with Illinois Youth Soccer. The following leagues automatically register all of your teams with Illinois Youth Soccer and US Youth Soccer and thereby makre their teams eligible for these prestigious events:
-Central Illinois Youth Soccer League (teams from Central Illinois & Chicago/South Suburbs)
-Illinois Women's Soccer League (Chicago & Suburbs)
-Illowa (Western Illinois)
-Southern Illinois Soccer League (Southern Illinois)
-Young Sportsmen's Soccer League (Chicago & Suburbs)
If you play in any other IYSA affiliated league, request that your team is registered with Illinois Youth Soccer and confirm that you play the required number of games in an Illinois Youth Soccer only division in that league.
