2008 Illinois Cup Information
Dates:
Girls – Saturday, May 31, 2008 - Schedule
Boys – Sunday, June 1, 2008 - Schedule
Location:
Sportscore 1, Rockford, Illinois
Ages:
Boys and Girls U-8 (6v6), U-9 (6v6), U-10 (8v8), U-11(8v8)
Teams:
Teams are divided into brackets
based on skill level. Teams are posted at the bottom
of this page.
Players
Per Team:
Each teams
roster for U8 age groups is allowed a maximum of 12 players.
Each teams roster for U9-11 age groups is allowed to have
a maximum of 14 players. All players must be listed on
your team’s league
roster and add/drop forms. No guest players will be allowed.
All teams must submit a copy of their league roster and
all add/drop forms along with the official Illinois Cup
roster form to the Illinois Youth Soccer office by May
15, 2008.
Play:
Each participating team will play three (3) fifty-minute
games in a roundrobin format. Teams in each age division
will be divided into two competitive flights. Top teams
in each flight may advance to a bonus game, depending on
the number of teams entered in each age group.There will
be no make-up dates due to inclement weather.
Entry
Fee:
$125, due with application by February 1, 2008. Teams are also responsible for referee fees at
the field. Teams are advised
to apply early as spots will be filled on a first come,
first served basis!
Awards:
All participants will receive a participation gift. First
and second place teams will receive team trophies.
