Illinois ODP State Process
The 2011/12 Illinois Olympic Development Process has undergone the following changes.
1. The one-day open tryout has been removed in favor of an open enrollment for the winter Illinois ODP trainings. The reason for this change is to provide coaches with a broader picture of what each player in the program has to offer as well as provide players more opportunities to be evaluated and trained by ODP staff.
2. Coaches will make a determination at the conclusion of the winter sessions as to who they will invite into the one-day Illinois ODP State Combine in June with the exception of the Developmental Age Groups (00/01 Boys and 99-01 Girls).
3. All registered players in the Developmental Age Groups (00/01 Boys and 99-01 Girls) will be invited to the one-day Illinois ODP State Combine.
4. From the players attending the one-day Illinois ODP State Combine, the age group coaches will select the eighteen (18) players in their age group that they would like to have represent Illinois at the US Youth Soccer Region II Camp or Tournament.
