Chicago Girls Soccer LeagueChicago Girls Soccer League 2010/2011 Photos (coming soon) Created in 2005, the Chicago Girls Soccer League provides young women living in Chicago's inner city communities the opportunity to play soccer in an organized and safe environment. Girls participate in weekly practices and weekend games. The young women are also encouraged to take referee and coaching courses. Through this program, participating girls have had the opportunity to participate in the Illinois ODP Program, attend special trainings with the US Women's National Team, receive scholarships to the Julie Foudy Sports Leadership Academy and other opportunities outside their community.
