What Teams Need To Do Before Their State Cup Games

 

Under-12 Info

FOR HOME-TEAM-HOST MATCHES

Teams matched up in a Home-Team-Host match must communicate with each other and mutually agree on a date and time to play the Home-Team-Host match. The team listed on the top of the bracket is the home team and if have available fields, the game should be played at their location (unless a large distance of travel would be required for one or both teams, then the game should be held at a neutral location between the two). Once a date, time and location are mutually agreed upon, the home team should email that information and detailed directions or a specific address of the field NO LATER THAN 5 DAYS PRIOR TO THE MATCH to:

TEAMS DO NOT ASSIGN REFEREES FOR HOME-TEAM-HOST GAMES. Once game details are emailed to those listed above, the State Cup referee assignor will assign the officiating crew. 

NO LATER THAN 48- HOURS PRIOR TO YOUR FIRST HOME-TEAM HOME MATCH, TEAM MUST: 

  1. Enter all players who will be competing in State Cup (max 22) into the official State Cup roster thru GotSoccer. Players not listed on official State Cup roster are NOT ELIGIBLE to compete in State Cup. Enter ALL PLAYERS (max 22) who may compete in the State Cup, rosters are frozen after first State Cup match and players cannot be added after first match.
  2. Email chrisj@illinoisyouthsoccer.org or fax (847-290-1576) a copy of your IYSA affiliated competitive league roster(s) for EACH PLAYER enterd into your State Cup roster in GotSoccer. Players not listed on an official IYSA affiliated league roster are NOT ELIGIBLE to compete in State Cup

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO YOUR HOME-TEAM-HOST MATCH:

  1. Official State Cup gamecard. Any team that does not have their game card will be subject to $10 printing fee fine.  Only 18 of max 22 players can dress per match. Inactive players should be crossed off gamecard. Here’s how you print your game card off GotSoccer:
    1. Log into your GotSoccer account
    2. Select Illinois State Cup
    3. Select "Schedule"
    4. For the game you want to download the game card for, on the far left of the match listing you will see a GRAY BOX with the PDF SYMBOL and a GAME #. Just click on the game #, download (you need PDF reader) and print that file.
  2. $75 ($60 for Under-12) in cash to pay to center referee prior to start of match. Preference is 3 envelopes of $25 each.

IF YOU WIN YOUR HOME-TEAM-HOST MATCH:

  1. Winning team (or home team if a draw) collect BOTH gamecards from center referee and submits them to chrisj@illinoisyouthsoccer.org or faxes it to 847-290-1577 NO LATER THAN 48 hours after the completion of the match.

FOR UNDER-12 GAMES IN NAPERVILLE/PLAINFIELD (May 3-4)

Under-12 teams that DO NOT play a home-team-host prior to their first match MUST do the following prior to their first game: By 5pm, Thursday, May 1

  1. ENTER ALL PLAYERS WHO WILL BE PLAYING IN THE EVENT MUST BE ADDED TO YOUR OFFICIAL ILLINOIS CUP ROSTER IN GOTSOCCER
  • How to enter your players into your GotSoccer Roster
    • Login to your team GotSoccer account (login and password info at bottom of this email)
    • You will be taken to your team’s Overview page. At the top of the page there is a Gray Bar that runs the length of the page; "Overview" is highlighted in light blue. On that bar click on ROSTER
    • This will take you to your PRIMARY PLAYER LIST
    • Add all your players here (NOT AS GUEST PLAYERS). To add players click the REGISTER NEW PLAYER button and enter the player’s info. The main information to enter is the player’s name, birthdate and id number. If the system asks for any other info (phone, email, etc.) you can just enter the club’s info

REMINDER: YOU MAY ONLY USE PLAYERS FROM WITHIN YOUR CLUB, NO PLAYERS FROM OUTSIDE YOUR CLUB ARE ALLOWED FOR THIS EVENT

TEAM CHECK-IN PROCESS
45-minutes prior to your first game on Saturday, a representative from the team needs to bring the following to the IL Youth Soccer check-in tent:

  1. Copy of official IYSA affiliated league roster(s) for players entered in your Illinois Cup roster on GotSoccer. If you are using players from both your Red and White team, be sure to bring both those rosters.
  2. IL Youth Soccer affiliated league Player cards or State ID with birthdate for all players
  3. $50 Team Parking Fee. Check should be made to Galaxy Soccer Club
  4. Gamecards for all your matches being played over the weekend. Any team that does not have their gamecards will be subject to $10 printing fee PER GAME.
  • Here's how you print your gamecard off of GotSoccer: GAMECARDS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PRINT ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30
    • Log into your team GotSoccer account (password and login info listed at bottom of email)
    • Select Chipotle State Cup (Under-12)
    • Select Schedule
    • On the far left of the match listing you will see a GRAY BOX with a PDF SYMBOL and a GAME #. Just click on the game #, download the PDF (you need Adobe Reader) and print the file

Under-12 teams that HAVE/WILL play a home-team-host prior to their first match MUST do the following prior to their first game on May 3:

TEAM CHECK-IN PROCESS
At least 20-minutes prior to your first game on Saturday, a representative from the team needs to bring the following to the IL Youth Soccer check-in tent:

  1. IL Youth Soccer affiliated league Player cards or State ID with birthdate for all players
  2. $50 Team Parking Fee. Check should be made to Galaxy Soccer Club
  3. Gamecards for all your matches being played over the weekend. Any team that does not have their gamecards will be subject to $10 printing fee PER GAME.

Team must give the following to the center ref prior to the start of the match:

    3. Select "Schedule"
    4. For the game you want to download the game card for, on the far left of the match listing you will see a GRAY BOX with the PDF SYMBOL and a GAME #. Just click on the game #, download (you need PDF reader) and print that file.
  2. $60 in cash to pay to center referee prior to start of match. Preference is 3 envelopes of $20 each.
  3. Player Cards for all active players on gamecard and Coaching Passes for all coaches/administrators (max 3)that will be on the sideline
