The following Grassroots course is the replacement for the E License, which is no longer offered All current E License holders will not need to take this course. Please see below the new competitive course steps for coaches wanting to coach competitively.

Grassroots Course for Competitive Clubs:

1. Create a coaching profile in the US Soccer Digital Coaching Center(DCC) (Free)
2. Complete the US Soccer Introduction to Grassroots Coaching Module (Free -20 minutes)
3. Complete one 2 Hour Online Course – either 4v4 or 7v7 or 9v9 or 11v11 course. **All are available online ** ($25 per course payable to US Soccer - F License suffices)
4. Attend one 4-hour In-Person Course – either 4v4 or 7v7 or 9v9 course ($125 per course)
5. Attend one 4-hour In-Person 11v11 Course ($125)
6. Attend Introduction to IYSA Competitive Club Soccer Webinar/In Person – 30 minutes (Free). Webinar information will be given to candidates following completion of the 11v11 course.  Webinars take place on Tuesday evenings.  A webinar is an online presentation that candidates follow at home on a computer.
