20U Boys Win Club's 1st NCS Title

FC United Wins US Youth Soccer National Championship

Second half goals by Jake Kruger and Andrew Juarez along with stout defense by goalkeeper Ryan Grady lead FC United to a 2-1 win in the US Youth Soccer 20U Boys National Final and earned the club their 1st US Youth Soccer National Championship Series title, the country's most coveted youth soccer title.


Two proved to be FC United's magic number during the National tournament, winning their first two group play games 2-0, drawing their final group play match 2-2 and winning the National Semifinal 2-1 en route to the National championship victory.

In addition to their team success, three players were recognized with individual honors for their performance on the pitch. Grady earned the Golden Glove award as the top goalkeeper in the 19U Boys division and Aidan Paper and Krueger were selected as Best XI for the age group.


In addition to the National Champion, Mundelein SC Academy finished as 13U Boys National Finalists.
