DESCRIPTION:CLICK HERE TO APPLY\nCourse Details:\nThe U.S. Soccer National C License hosted by ILLINOIS YOUTH SOCCER is an online and in-person course. This blended format combines an online experience\, assignments\, small group meetings\, independent learning\, and an in-person meeting. \nEligibility Requirements:\nTo be register for the U.S. Soccer C course\, all candidates must meet the following prerequisites: \n•      At least 18 years of age \n•      Have held a U.S. Soccer D license for at least 6 months OR meet the waiver guidelines \n•      Must have access to a team (U13+) in a participation environment for the duration of the course \n  \nCourse Experience\n80+ hours (virtual + in-person meetings) \nCoaches who register for this course can expect weekly learning opportunities that will feature a mixture of independent learning using online modules\, live virtual meetings\, and a 4-day in- person meeting led by a licensed U.S. Soccer Educator. Coaches will be asked to participate in discussions so each person should have access to the internet and a laptop/device with web- camera/live video capabilities. The virtual meetings will take place on agreed-upon days and times (see below). Coaches may be asked to participate in the in-person field component as either coaches or players\, so please come prepared to actively learn. \n  \nCourse Duration: \nFour (4) Months (Including summative assessment) with Four (4) in-person days \n  \nCourse Assessment:\nFormative Assessment (course assignments during the course) in \n•      Leadership and Managing the Performance Environment \n•      Leading the player within the team \n•      Team performance observation-analysis \n•      Coaching Games \n•      Coaching Training Sessions \n  \nSummative Assessment (Final projects at the end of the course) in · \n•       Coaching Games \no  Team performance analysis report \n•      Coaching Training Sessions \no  Designing two (2) training session plans (within one week) \no  Coaching one (1) training session (video) \n  \nCourse Outcome\nOn successful completion of course assessment\, student coaches will receive the U.S. Soccer C Diploma and a 3-year License. \nCourse Policies\n•      Coaches that register for this course are expected to attend all course meetings and complete all assignments by due dates to be eligible to receive the license \n•      Coaches must have access to a team (U13+) in a participation environment for the duration of the course \n  \nCourse Structure:\n  \nPre-course Meeting\nMust be registered to attend. Riverside Blvd\, Loves Park\, IL. \n\nWeek 16 Closing All-Course Meeting\n  \nClosing Week Webinar Date: June 16th 2024 – Closing Week Webinar Time: 9pm \nClosing Week Webinar Link: Will be shared in course calendar and communication \n  \nCourse fee:\n$1425 \nRegistration: \nRegistration will open at 11.59pm October 23rd and will close at 11:59 PM on Friday 1\, Feb 2024 \nRefund Policy: \nIllinois Youth Soccer C-License Course Refund Policy \n\nThe registration fee must be paid in full at the time of registration which closes on Feb 1st 2024.\nCancellations more than 14 days prior to the start of the course may be refunded in full.
