DESCRIPTION:Date(s): January-June 2027 \nRegistration & Complete Details \n  \n\n**ALL REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AN INVITATION TO THE COURSE*\n\nEligibility Requirements\nTo be considered for the U.S. Soccer B Course\, all applicants must meet ALL of the following prerequisites:\n\n\n\nAt least 18 years of age\n\n\nHave held a U.S. Soccer C License for at least 12 months or meet the waiver requirements\n\n\nHave 3 or more years of coaching experience (any level)\n\n\nCurrently coaching a team training at least three (3) times a week\n\n\nCurrently working in an appropriate soccer environment for the course content -OR- have the opportunity to work with a team of the appropriate level for the course content to complete the assignments (internship\, etc.)\n\n\n\nWaiver Process\nCoaches seeking a waiver should review the FAQs listed here: https://ussf.my.site.com/lcsupport/s/article/Waiver-Process-FAQs\n\nCourse Experience\n120+ hours (virtual + in-person meetings)\n\nCoaches who register for this course can expect weekly learning opportunities featuring a mixture of independent learning using online modules\, live virtual meetings\, and two (2) 4-day in-person meetings led by licensed U.S. Soccer Educators.\nCoaches will be asked to participate in discussions\, so each person should have access to the internet and a laptop/device with web-camera/live video capabilities.\nThe virtual meetings will take place on agreed-upon days and times. Coaches may be asked to participate in the in-person field component as coaches or players\, so please come prepared to learn actively.\n\nCourse Duration\nSix (6) Months (Including summative assessment) with eight (8) in-person days across two (2) separate in-person meetings.\n\nCourse Assessment\nFormative Assessment (course assignments during the course) in\n\n\nLeadership and Managing the Performance Environment\n\n\nLeading the player within the team\n\n\nCoaching Games\n\n\nCoaching Training Sessions\n\n\n\nSummative Assessment (final projects at the end of the course) in\n\n\nCoaching Games\n\n\nTeam Performance Analysis Report\n\n\nCoaching Training Sessions\n\n\nDesigning three (3) training session plans (within one week)\n\n\nCoaching one (1) training session (video)\n\n\n\nCourse Outcome\nStudent coaches will receive the U.S. Soccer B License\n\nCourse Policies\n\n\nCoaches that register for this course are expected to attend all course meetings and complete all assignments by due dates to be eligible to receive the license\n\n\nCoaches must have access to a team (U13+) in a performance environment for the duration of the course\n\n\n\nCourse Structure\nSchedule\nThe final virtual meeting dates and times will be announced at least two (2) weeks before the course starts. Coaches must allot two to three hours weekly for virtual course meetings.\n\nVirtual Large Group Meetings – Scheduled for 2pm CST Wednesdays – These do not occur every week.\nThere will be other meetings as scheduled by the educator and student coach\n
