Like the State Cup, the Illinois Presidents Cup offers teams a statewide championship tournament that earns advancement into a US Youth Soccer Regional event which hopefully advances them to the US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup. To compare, the State Cup is the UEFA Champions League and the Presidents Cup is the Europa League.
Illinois holds one of the largest Presidents Cup events and since US Youth Soccer launched the Presidents Cup in 2009, Illinois teams have proven to be a force to be reckoned with; winning 43 Midwest Presidents Cup titles and 21 National Presidents Cup championships, fourth most of any US Youth Soccer State Association.
On Sunday, the newest 15U-19U Illinois Presidents Cup Champions were crowned and earned a spot in the 2024 US Youth Soccer Midwest Presidents Cup being held in Sioux Falls, SD in June.
Registration for the 13U Boys & Girls and 15U-19U Boys Presidents Cup is open thru February 2.
