The 2012 will be made up of eight teams where they will all play each other once for a total of seven games. Newcomer club to the division, Rockford Elite FC will make its debut in the competition, having had some success in a few tournaments lately, this team knows how to win. Can it translate into the Premiership, is the question they will be eager to answer. Ajax FC Naperville joined forces with Pineda Futbol Academy, where that side competed in the 12U Midwest Conference Qualifier (MWC Q) – a year long competition. The two will be excited to join forces under one club to compete for the ultimate prize. FC-1 and Glen Ellyn Lakers move into the Premiership as well after participating in the 12U MWC Q. 13U is young, but a high amount of high-level competition brings experience. DuPage Soccer Academy, Chicago Fire Youth and Roadrunners round out the group as newcomers, giving the division yet another boost.
2011 (14U) Boys Preview
The 2011 division will be divided in two, five in the Premiership I and seven in Premiership II. Having to play each team twice in both divisions will only add to the intrigue.
14U IL State Premiership I has three returning teams in the division. Young Wolves and FSC, who finished fourth and seventh respectively in the Spring 2024 season and Pegasus who participated in the Fall 2023 Premiership, before making their way into the Spring 2024 MWC Q season. The teams know well how difficult it can be to make it to the top and will be looking to take advantage of the familiarity this time around and they will not be ones to sleep on. Joining the fray is FC-1 and Chicago Rush North Shore. FC-1 join after a successful season in the MWC Q where they finished in second place losing only once. Chicago Rush North Shore will be the only newcomer, however a newcomer with pedigree.
Diverse City FC and DuPage Soccer Academy will be featured in the Premiership II division for the very first time. A new competition can be a tough task, but the two clubs know well what they have to do. Fall 2023 Illinois Cup winners Bolingbrook SC know what it takes to win a competition now a new task lies ahead. Glen Ellyn Lakers will be new to the Premiership this season, the Semi-finalists in the Spring 2024 Illinois Cup were two wins away from the ultimate prize and will surely be hungry to reach it. Wheaton United and Synergy are clubs who have participated in the Premiership however, these two teams will be making their debut, ready to make a name for themselves. Last but not least, Ponys FC will be returning after participating in both the Spring 2023 and Fall 2024 seasons. While they may not have found success within the Premiership yet, they will be coming into the 2024 Fall season after winning the Copa Rayados tournament where they did not lose a game. Full of momentum coming in, they will be thinking this can be their year.
2010 (15U) Boys Preview
Six clubs will play in the 2010 State Premiership, a 15U age group that will be full of new faces. Only Golden Eagles make their way from an Illinois Youth Soccer competition where they played in the 14U MWC Q in the Spring. A showing they will be excited to improve on, but as mentioned time and again, experience can do wonders. Chicago Dynasty, Elgin Pumas, CL Force and GLSA know their way around an IYSA competition, where they have seen plenty success. Winning the Premiership for these specific teams has not yet been an experience they have been able to brag about. They will be excited to change that come November. Wisconsin United will be new competition for most and most will be new competition for them. The Wisconsin natives will be one to watch out for.
2011 (14U) Girls Preview
Familiar foes in the 2011 age group as four of the eight meet again. Chicago Rush Oswego, Chicago Rush North Shore, FC Stars and Pegasus participated in the MWC Q in the Spring 2024 season where they finished first through fourth respectively. Chicago Rush Oswego only lost twice, however those two losses came against Chicago Rush North Shore, making for a mouthwatering matchup. While Rush North Shore had bragging rights in the head to head matchups, they did lose out on the first place by three points as they lost once but drew three times. FC Stars and Pegasus finished with 17 and 16 points respectively. FC Stars and Pegasus will not be looking at the Spring for an indication of where they can be this season, they managed to trouble both Chicago Rush sides and will surely feel the summit is within reach. New to the fold will be Chicago Empire, Raptors – CL Force, Elite SC and Chicago Inter. The four clubs have history of success and they will all be very intriguing additions.
2010 (15U) Girls Preview
With a stacked 2010 division made up of 10 teams, ending at the top of the table will be no easy feat. An FC Stars team that a year ago – Fall 2023 – ended in 6th place, managed to turn things completely around and be crowned the Champions in the Spring. Third place finishers in the Fall 2023 Premiership, Chicago Rush North Shore did not have the best Spring playing in the Midwest Conference. They will look at their return to the Premiership with vengeance, ready to bounce back and showcase their talent. Pegasus and Northwind will be the other final returning teams, looking to make a breakthrough. Champions of the Spring 2023 Illinois Cup, Elite SC join the division for the first time ready to take the next step. Finally, Chicago Inter, Galaxy SC, Palatine Celtic and CSA complete the group, clubs that know a thing or two about winning.
2009 (16U) Girls Preview
An intriguing group makes up the 2009 division as we have Midwest Conference experience, Midwest Conference Qualifiers experience, Premiership Experience and a couple newcomers. Pegasus FC and Palatine Celtic SC return to the Premiership after competing in the Fall 2023 season. A season where each team played each other twice, home and away. Both teams only loss came at the hand of the other however, with a draw later in the season for the Palatine side they finished behind Pegasus by two points. Surely they will both be circling this game on the calendar. Spring 2024 President Cup Finalists, FC Lake County, were at the footsteps of glory, they won’t forget how close they were. FC-1 and FC Stars will be the other returning teams to the Premiership, they know the competition well and are no strangers to success. Newcomers in KICS FC, Raptors – CL Force, LG Celtics and Wizard Oakbrook will round out the division making for a mouthwatering competition.
2008 (17U) Girls Preview
The 2008 age group is separated into a Premiership I and Premiership II division where both divisions will play each team twice. The 2022 and 2023 National Presidents Cup Champions and Fall 2023 Premiership Champions, FC-1 Academy know winning well, it has become an acquired taste. Fall 2023 Presidents Cup semi-finalists Team Chicago join the division ready to challenge for the title. Lyons Township, Pegasus FC and Wheaton United are newcomers to the division but they won’t be teams to sleep on.
The Premiership II division will have a mix of teams making their way up into the Premiership from IWSL league play. Tinley Park Bobcats are champions of the A division and will look to transfer their success into the Premiership. They along with Chicago Inferno and Campton United will be participating in the Presidents Cup where they may meet again. Chicago Rush Oswego and FSC are new to the Premiership in this age group. With little experience in the Premiership, this group of teams will be looking to quickly make a name for themselves in the competition.
2007 (18U) Girls Preview
The 2007 age group is one of the toughest divisions in the competition. Palatine Celtic SC and Bolingbrook SC return from the Fall 2023 season where they finished second and third place respectively. The Palatine side lost only once, to eventual winners FSC. FC United brings E64 RL experience where they finished second place in their group. Wheaton United SC are coming from the MWC Premier II and Lake Forest, while being new to the competition, add players with both E64 and MWC experience. Experience can mean nothing or it can be the difference between finishing at the top or the bottom of the table and they all have a wealth of it.
2006 (19U) Girls Preview
Fall 2023 Premiership Champions in FSC make their way back to the division, looking to repeat and make a statement of authority. It will not be an easy task as Northwind SC – Fall 2023 Presidents Cup Champions – might have something to say. They are accompanied by Tinley Park Bobcats, they are Fall 2023 Presidents Cup Finalists. They fell to Northwind in the final after beating them in the first game of the competition, they won’t forget the loss quickly. Chicago Rush Oswego, Chicago Rush North and LG Celtics complete the division as newcomers ready to challenge for the title.
Premiership II will be made up of teams moving up into the Premiership. Chicago Rush North Shore, Chicago Rush West, Aurora Eagles all will be coming up from IWSL league play.
