Based on club feedback, Illinois Youth Soccer changed the format of the 12U Illinois MWC Qualifier from a Spring only event to a soccer-year-long (August – June ) competition. The results of this competitions will determine which teams get placed in the Fall 2025 US Youth Soccer Midwest Conference Premier Qualifying Division.
Games will be played 11v11 and this competition is designed for the most competitive 12U teams that want to play in the top levels of the US Youth Soccer Midwest Conference.

FAQ
Per game referee fee?
- Per game referee fee. BOTH teams will pay the following at each Illinois MWC Qualifier match
- 12U: $80 per game ( Each team brings: 2 $20 bills, 4 $10 bills)
How are games scheduled?
Team schedule the game among themselves and a finalized schedule must be submitted to Illinois Youth Soccer by the schedule by deadline. Teams are allowed to reschedule games as need be, following a specific protocol.
Where do I find team contacts?
All teams should promptly follow the directions here to update their teams contacts so they will appear on their team page.
What do I bring to games?
- Referee payment (fees shown above)
- Match Card printed off GotSport
- IYSA member league issued player & coaches passes
How do I report the score?
The winning team (or the HOME team if that match ends in a draw) is responsible for reporting the score. Scores can be reported in two ways
- Follow the prompts on the match card and report the score via online or phone prompt
- Scan or takes a photo of both gamecards and sends them to iysascoring@gmail.com IF THERE IS A RED CARD ISSUED IN THE MATCH THE TEAM MUST SUBMIT THE RESULT THRU THIS PROCESS.
If a referee keeps the gamecards please notify vince@illinoisyouthsocce.org following the match.
Results should be submitted with 24-hrs of the completion of the match or teams could be subject to a fine for failing to submit scores promptly.
