These procedures MUST be followed for an Illinois team comprised of Illinois residents that is not currently registered for IYSA competitive play that only wants to play in IYSA/USYS Sanctioned tournaments.

Cost: The fee is $20 per player and per coach. The total amount will be charged when the team is processed and will be charged for $20 per player and per coach. Beginning January 1, 2025, only credit card payments will be accepted

Team will NOT be processed until ALL of the following is received:
For PLAYERS:
1.) Copy of birth certificates for all players. Birth Certificates must be government issued; no hospital birth certificates will be accepted. DO NOT UPLOAD TO GOTSOCCER. Birth certificate MUST be emailed to katie@illinoisyouthsoccer.org
2.) Signed Illinois Medical Release Form for all players. DO NOT UPLOAD TO GOTSOCCER. Medical releases MUST be emailed to katie@illinoisyouthsoccer.org o
3.) Photos have been uploaded for all players, coaches, and assistant coaches (headshots only). Photos will be rejected for any of the following reasons:
- photo is a file format other than .jpg
- file is more than 1MB
- subject is a full body shot
- subject is wearing any altering items such as a hat, mustache, sunglasses, etc.
*Illinois Youth Soccer Association (IYSA), as a charter member of US Soccer Federation and US Youth Soccer Association, is obligated to conduct and monitor a risk management program in Illinois. In compliance with these national policies, the IYSA adopted IYSA Rule 019 that requires all persons aged 18 years and older that have direct contact with minors in IYSA affiliated programs to submit to a background search.
For COACHES:
4.) All who wish to receive a coaching pass (coach, assistant coach) must comply with the Safe Soccer Clearance Program. Information can be found by clicking here. Background searches submitted elsewhere will not be accepted. All phases must be completed to be considered Safe Soccer approved.
5.) All who wish to receive a coaching pass (coach, assistant coach) must provide a copy of a US Soccer Federation Coaching Education License. Acceptable licenses are the USSF A, B, C, D, E or a Grassroots certification. A tournament team personnel must have a minimum of a USSF E License/Grassroots certification.
