Illinois Youth Soccer is teaming up with its neighbors to the north, the Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association, to launch the inaugural season of the Wisconsin/Illinois Club vs. Club competition.
The new club-based platform provides teams from both states with an opportunity to compete regularly against high-level opponents while keeping travel and costs manageable for clubs and families.
Five clubs will take part in the inaugural season:
- Croatian Eagles Soccer Club
- Wisconsin Nationals
- Madison 56ers Soccer Club
- Rockford Raptors FC
- Wisconsin United Football Club
Led by the participating clubs, the competition is designed to provide players with a full schedule of competitive matches, opportunities to face top-level competition and a team-friendly cost structure.
The Club vs. Club platform adds another option for teams looking for meaningful competition beyond their local league schedule. Clubs interested in participating in a future season should contact their respective state association to learn more about the program and participation opportunities.

Both Illinois and Wisconsin also offer additional team-based competition platforms. In Illinois, clubs can participate in the Illinois State Premiership, while Wisconsin offers the Wisconsin State League and SECL. Registration for the spring season will open soon.
