Player Development Badge Application

To earn the Illinois Youth Soccer Player Development Badge, clubs must meet all of the following requirements:

Club has player(s) participating in Illinois ODP
Club has a defined and written game model methodology on their website
Club can demonstrate their commitment to the Coaching Process and how they serve the basic needs of their players
In addition to competitive play, the club also offers alternative program such as:
- Grassroots (non-competitive) program
- TOPSoccer
- Early age player program (for kids under 5)
- Futsal
- Referee training for players
- Coaching Education opportunities for players
