Among the criteria to earn the Competition Participation badge are
- Having teams and players registered to an Illinois Youth Soccer member competitive league
- Club has competed in and NOT FORFEITED any matches in the State Cup, Presidents Cup, Illinois Cup & Junior Cup in the past year.
