The Illinois Youth Soccer Parent Engagement Badge shows that a club emphasizes the role of parents in their child’s soccer experience. To earn this badge the club must show how they keep parents educated and involved.

Among the criteria to earn the Parent Engagement badge are
- Club must have a yearly plan of action (as detailed in CTL Level 1 License) for parent engagement
- Club must have a written and posted Code of Conduct for Parents
- Club must be able to cite examples of how they engage with parents
